Originally I was going to name this site The Society of Little People to honor a friend of mine, who is endlessly exasperated by the fact that recently I am spending my time scribbling little drawings instead of throwing myself on enormous canvases like a savage beast and creating Big, Big Paintings. After consideration, I have decided that the real Little People might be confused by the content of this site, and I didn’t want them to be upset in case they truly dislike what they see.
